A Delhi Wedding Story | Alisha+Naman

“He is me and I am him”, that’s how Alisha and Naman describe their love. And we absolutely agree! Alisha and Naman are two halves of a soul, perfectly in sync with each other. They’ve loved each other for so long that in their hearts, they were already married. It was only a matter of time until they made it official.

They married each other in a 2-day fantastic celebration in the Trident and Oberoi Hotel in Gurgaon. Their Delhi wedding celebrations were fun, crazy and full of love. But the celebrations began much before, with Alisha’s surprise proposal to Naman and a dreamy pre-wedding in Neemrana Hill Fort Kesroli. Read on!

Part 1: The Proposal and Engagement

Alisha wanted to do something different and surprise Naman with a proposal. And surprised he was! When he saw the beautiful set-up and the lovely Alisha waiting for him, he was speechless. It was a romantic and intimate evening. They kissed, they danced and they celebrated a new chapter in their life.

A few weeks later they had a formal engagement ceremony with family and friends. Alisha got down on her knees again for the man of her dreams! And then she made a stunning solo dance performance that went viral on Instagram!

Part 2: Neemrana Kesroli Pre-Wedding

Alisha and Naman wanted a pre-wedding that was everything – dreamy, fun and fairytale-ish. And we were excited! With a couple like them, we knew we had the opportunity to have a lot of fun while making images we love. We decided to do it in the Neemrana Kesroli Fort. It’s a small but extremely charming fort and it was the perfect place to give our couple their dream.

The best thing was that not once did we have to worry about giving our couple directions or posing them. Their chemistry and their comfort with each other were evident. Just a little encouragement from our side and they were ready to go for hours!

This was one of the last photos we took for the pre-wedding session and we decided to make it super interesting and special. Doesn’t this image look straight out of a sci-fi romance movie?

Part 3: Sangeet

The wedding celebrations started in the Trident Hotel with a sundowner mehendi followed by a sangeet. Alisha looked so gorgeous that we just had to make some portraits in the evening light before her entry with Naman.

Our couple made an entry with a riot of colours, and their family and friends cheering them on! Later in the night, Alisha and Naman gave some smashing solo dance performances. The party lasted until the wee hours of morning.

After Naman’s terrific performance with his groomsmen, we could hear cheers of “once more” from all around.

Part 4: Haldi

There was haldi, there was water, there were flowers and there was love! Alisha thoroughly enjoyed her Haldi ceremony, showered by love and flowers from everyone.

Naman’s friends were all geared up to colour him all over with yellow.

Part 6: Delhi Wedding

Throughout the wedding celebrations, whenever we asked Alisha how she was feeling, she always told us that it felt like she was just having fun at a huge party. It didn’t feel like she was getting married. That is until that bridal dupatta was placed on her head. And then, she felt like a bride! And what a gorgeous bride she made.

Our groom looked dapper in his sherwani and was all pumped up for his baraat! But most importantly, Naman was looking forward to see his bride in all her glory.

Sealed the deal!

Alisha did not want her family to be sorrowful at her farewell, so she made sure everyone was smiling and she bid her family goodbye with laughter and love.
