We are Arjun and Praerna Kartha. This is our story.
We run a boutique wedding photography company called Twogether Studios. Flashback 2008, we were in a marketing and advertising career, and being twenty-somethings, we had tons of friends getting married. On a lark, one day we decided to take our cameras along and take a couple of pictures. Our friends loved the pictures, and asked us to do more! And more! We like to think we’re amongst the first photographers who started the renaissance in Indian Wedding Photography, and quickly jumped ships and started shooting weddings full time. At this time, “candid wedding photography” was still in it’s infancy, and believe it or not – even our own wedding pictures really left a lot to be desired. Over time, we are proud to have been a part of hundreds of weddings and are very thankful to all the brides and grooms who invited us to be a part of the private day. What started as just the two of us is today a full team; we have everything needed to create intimate wedding stories within the studio. Read on to know more about us and our story! Welcome to our website, and we hope to be a part of your big day!

Arjun thinks of himself a ‘non-wedding’ wedding photographer, because he creates images which are the anti-thesis of traditional wedding photography. With more than two decades of photography experience, Arjun is a master with the camera. With his casual and friendly approach to working with brides and grooms, Arjun is able to integrate and truly become a part of the wedding family and create photographic stories from an insider perspective. With years of rich experience, Arjun is widely acclaimed within the industry as one of the top wedding photographers in India. He started his career in advertising, and worked with a long line of talented photographers in all kinds of shoots that sparked his latent interest in photography. He found himself moving from advertising to retail consulting and finally to IT Marketing before he realized that his latent creativity could not be fulfilled in just corporate marketing. Now, over ten years later, Arjun finds himself precisely where he wanted to be when he first started his career – behind the lens, doing something that he loves.

Praerna is a creative professional with a bundle of talents at her disposal, which makes her a force to reckon with at a wedding. With over six years of experience in the advertising industry behind her, she uses all her talents to be able to direct a wedding shoot, sniff out moments from behind the scenes and be able to put a bride at ease for that perfect portrait shot. With her charming and easy going manner, and with her skill behind the camera, Praerna is able to become an integral part of the wedding and finds herself walking away with timeless wedding memories from an insider’s perspective of the wedding. When not shooting a wedding, Praerna is a talented food blogger, photographer and food-stylist. She runs a food blog called Food-Dee-Dum, and can also be found in the Twogether Studio chasing after that perfect shot of a waffle!

The Wedding Photographer's Association of India

We are proud to have also founded the Wedding Photographers Association of India (WPAI) – an organisation that brings together the best photographers in India to promote the art and craft of wedding photography. The association is committed to promoting excellence, innovation and raising the bar for wedding photography in India. Photographers go through a rigorous selection process, and only those who have a demonstrative ability and exceptional skill are accepted as members of the association.

Our bright, colourful and easily accessible studio in central Gurgaon is the perfect place for a quiet consultation over coffee and samosas! We brew our own coffee (yes, we’re like that) have two German Shepherds frolicking about the office looking for someone new to play with (they’re super friendly, don’t worry!) and look forward to meeting you!

Arjun and Praerna Kartha are wedding photographers based in New Delhi, India. To know more about what they can do for you, please get in touch with them here.
