Rashmi and Krishna came to us with this idea of an epic pre-wedding. They wanted it to be beautiful, dreamy and grand. And they were up for anything to make it memorable. After much research, we decided that the Andaman and Nicobar Islands would be the perfect place to make this happen for them. And we were right.
It turned out to be one of our most memorable pre-wedding shoots with the most adventurous and fearless couple. We did everything that we dreamed of during this shoot and Rashmi and Krishna were supportive and enthusiastic throughout – from getting up at 2 in the morning to staying calm in the water when there were snakes around!
We were also scheduled to shoot Rashmi and Krishna’s wedding a few months later. So it was even more exciting for us to spend some time together with the couple before the rush of wedding festivities began. Here are some of our favourite images from their much-loved pre-wedding session in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

During this first session on Havelock Island, we had finished shooting at the main beach part and were driving back when we spotted this lovely cove with overhanging trees. We thought it would make a great location for the shoot and we were right!
For our second session, we found this clearing in the middle surrounded by these big trees. The sunlight streaming softly through the foliage, our beautiful couple and their chemistry together – it looked like a shoot in an enchanted forest. Everything looked magical and straight out of a fairytale.
As the sunset neared, the sky started changing. So we decided to walk out from the forest clearing and go towards the beach in hopes of getting a pretty sky and boy was it beautiful! It was one of the most incredible sunsets we’ve ever seen in our travels over the years. And we’re stoked to have had this epic sky for our couple’s session.
For our third and last session, we decided to brave the waters of the Andaman islands. The ever so adventurous Rashmi and Krishna got on the boat bravely. It was a bit tricky getting our couple to pose on the boat while being stable enough in the water ourselves but we made it work.
