A Majestic Destination Wedding in Udaipur
Anusha and Jay had a beautiful destination wedding in Udaipur a while ago, spanning the City Palace Complex & the Jagmandir Palace island. It was an intimate wedding of 200 of their closest friends and family.
Their story is quite a filmy, yet a very sweet one. Anusha is originally from Dehradun while Jay is from Rajkot. But they met in Bombay, where they both worked at the time. Jay’s cousin was Anusha’s flatmate and she was convinced that they would make a great pair – she tried to set them up multiple times before they actually met. And then realised that they should have listened to the cousin in the first place, because she was oh-so-right! One meeting was all it took. After three years of dating, they decided to get hitched and picked the beautiful City Palace at Udaipur for their dream wedding.
Jay’s brother Neil was instrumental to the planning and execution of the wedding – it went off without a hitch and friends and family came from far and wide to attend the wedding. They had guests from London, Bombay, Delhi, Dehradun & Rajkot. The star studded list of their friends included former India cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin, actor Rohit Roy, comedian Nitin Mirani and Bollywood producer Mohammed Morani.
Anusha and Jay had a beautiful wedding, set in one of the most beautiful locations in Rajasthan and we are ecstatic that we got to be a part of their special day. We wish them all the very best for a happy married life.
