Twogether Studios by Arjun Kartha | Wedding Photography & Films
As a wedding photographer, I don’t just take pic As a wedding photographer, I don’t just take pictures; I step into a world of emotions, immortalizing moments that tell stories of love, joy, and timeless bonds.

There’s something profoundly beautiful about the trust a bride places in her photographer. It’s not just about capturing moments; it’s about being trusted to tell her story, her way. When a bride chooses me, she entrusts me with making stories from the most important day in her life…a responsibility I cherish deeply.

Walking into a bride’s room, I’m instantly surrounded by a whirlpool of emotions - anticipation, joy, a touch of nervousness, all weaving together into a beautiful tapestry of memories. It’s in these moments that my camera and I become silent observers, capturing the overwhelming emotion of a father’s first glance at his daughter as a bride, the subtle yet powerful gestures of reassurance, and the unspoken promises of a lifetime.

My mission? To paint every bride in the best light, to capture her at her most radiant, her most beautiful. These aren’t just photos; they’re windows to a moment where she felt like the center of the universe.

As the day fades and the last picture is taken, I step back with a heart full of stories. These images are more than just a record of a day; they’re a celebration of a journey, a testament to love and happiness.

To every couple whose love story I’ve been privileged to capture, thank you for letting me be a part of your most precious day. Here’s to love, laughter, and happily ever after. 🥂❤️

Love,
Arjun

The process of wedding photography has been someth The process of wedding photography has been something that I’ve always been fascinated with. When I first started shooting weddings fifteen years ago, most wedding photos were taken more as “evidence” - proof that the wedding happened. Wedding photography as a documentary genre was unheard of, and its only with time that art and storytelling got infused into weddings, which has made it the beautiful genre it is today. Throughout this time one thing has always been constant - telling wedding stories was a great responsibility, and it required me to pour all of my emotional strength and being into crafting what I saw was a labour of love. The last fifteen years have been a roller coaster of a ride and I can’t wait to see where the journey now leads.
Are you getting married, or know of someone gettin Are you getting married, or know of someone getting married? There’s very little information about wedding films, so I’m going to give out some of my favourite ideas on how you can walk away with a great wedding film! I’ve directed hundreds of wedding films over the years - and here are my top tips that’ll ensure you have an amazing movie.

Interviews and sound bytes: Have a conversation with your filmmaker on camera where you talk about your journey as a couple. If you’d like messages from family and friends, have your wedding decorator create a small booth that’s well lit and most importantly, far away from the music and noise!

During events like the Sangeet, it’s crucial to have constant, soft lighting on the performers’ faces. Communicate this to the decorator. Avoid harsh, colored lights which can cause everyone to look red and violet in the video.

For sangeets and entries, amp up the drama! Confetti blasts, cold pyros, a smoke machine - all of these look GREAT on video.

Avoid having a big LED screen behind the stage - this creates a lot of backlighting that makes everyone’s faces look dark which can be very challenging for any cinematographer.

During your Jaimala, ask everyone’s who’s non essential to get off the stage. Our families love us, but if they’re all jostling around you it’s going to take away from your moment.

I have tons of more tips. Follow for more, and as always - share this with someone who can use it!
From India to the heart of East Africa! Ronnie and From India to the heart of East Africa! Ronnie and Mira’s wedding in Kampala, Uganda, was a cross-continental celebration that filled our hearts with joy.

The natural beauty of East Africa, the vibrant community, and the rich culture cast a spell on us. We were in awe of every moment, from the mesmerizing sunset ceremony to Ronnie’s grand entrance in that vintage car.

But that’s not all! Speke Resort, Kampala, was the backdrop for this incredible day. Fun fact: The First Lady of Uganda staying at the property turned it into a fortress of charm and elegance. We can’t forget the delightful Rex, Ronnie and Mira’s furry companion. This big fellow added an extra dose of love and laughter to the festivities. And, of course, the African drummers! They kept the energy soaring, and the beats resonated with the rhythm of our hearts.
Join us in reliving these magical moments that transcended borders and celebrated love in its purest form.
