An intimate Delhi Wedding Photography Story | Mallika x Jutin

This wedding, as Mallika told us in conversation can also be called, “Bittu Chikki ki bitiya marries Pappu Guggu ka bitua” (watch the video at the end of this post for more on this!). We’ve known Mallika for a while now, and we’ve ALWAYS known that when she decided to get married, it’ll be a wedding like no other. Mallika is a real firecracker and makes everyone laugh within minutes with her unique sense of humour (she had us in splits right away!). She’s a bundle of raw and unbridled energy while Jutin, being the ying to her yang, is…let’s just say, quite the opposite. Well, they do say that opposites attract! All real and raw, we bring to you the Delhi wedding photography story of Mallika & Jutin.

The Sangeet

When we first Mallika, one of the things that stuck when she was telling us about her wedding was that most of the functions would be one big excuse to party. The Sangeet certainly was one of those! Mallika being the pataka that she is, we weren’t surprised to see her enter on a Ghodi. (Well, why should only boys have all the fun)!

Chooda + Haldi

Mallika had her chooda function at her home while at the same time Jutin’s family and friends were plastering him with generous doses of Haldi. As photographers, this is where a lot of intimate stories can be told, so here goes!

Wedding

We asked Mallika: “Hey, do you feel like a bride?

Mallika: “I do, Look at me!

The pictures say it all!

Mallika and Jutin had a beautiful Anand Karaj ceremony – probably the one event that didn’t involve dancing (which was sure to follow).

“I have never felt more me in my life than after I have met Jutin” – said Mallika when we did a quick video interview just after the wedding.

Reception

The reception at Delhi’s Mor Bagh was a more formal affair, but the energy was still running high.

Probably the one picture we have of Mallika which doesn’t involve her breaking out into her trademark grin.
